Happy Monday!
Friday I was hunting in the library for a new book to buy and to my amazment I found the cookbook section. With as many years as I have spent in that library, I would always get distracted by the children's books or art books, and never took the time to wander the rest of the book shelves. I found some obscure creative books that I could really appreciate. But I noticed something new...so many people are writing their life stories and including the recipes that have changed their lives. Julia Child's My Life in France, Elizabeth Bard's Lunch in Paris: A Love Story with Recipes, and Molly O'Neill's Mostly True: A Memior of Family, Food, and Baseball to name a few. I don't know about you but I am loving this new genre! A great story and ecipes I can try on my own. Look for some of the recipes as I read the next couple of months.
What are you reading? Any new favorites?
